Just a quick update on James. As some of you may already know, he has undescended testicles. Not one, but both of them (lucky boy). We took him to the urologist this past week. One of them is still pretty high up and the other is down farther, but still not enough. And so, he is going to have to have the surgery. If we don't do it soon, it could lead to infertility, hernias, cancer, and something else? So 2e set up a date for it, June 12th. It is an out patient procedure, so we'll be able to bring him home that day. But on account of it being surgery, he will have to go under anesthesia, which is full of things I don't want think about. They said recovery should take about 3 weeks, the worst of it being the first week. So kindly, the nurse told us it would be the hardest week of our life. Comforting eh? My poor baby.
K, think that's all I'll post about it.

Putt Putt And Chimi's
In March I decided that we were boring. And so I started making us do things. Mostly we live through the Groupon, really, it's a problem. We had one this groupon probably months ago. But Jameson loooooves the mini-golf. So to North County we went. The mall there has a glow in the dark putt putt course.
For dinner (with another groupon) we at this place in St. Pete called Chimi's. And oh my goodness. Go there, now, and eat a chimichanga. Steak and cheese is how I like mine. It was kind of like heaven. Maybe I was super hungry? And the salsa, amazing. Even James ate some of the amazingness. We're trying to grow him up right, on mexican food.
PS - I HAAAATE new blogger. Who new rearranging photos and writing words could be so hard?

Four Things That Make Today Great
Some days make me happy to just be alive, living my silly little life. And here are a few of the things that made today spectacular...
1. Lunch Date With My Baby. Seriously, this has to be one of my favorite things to do with my James. Now that he is old enough to one, sit in a high chair, and two, eat whatever the heck he wants, we now have the mobility to be awesome. Of course, I still bring his lunch with us, today it was applesauce and cheerios and a bottle of milk. I probably sat in that silly Taco Bell for over an hour just eating lunch and talking with my baby. I just love this kid. And today was a good day with him, as most are. But there was just something about the way he babbled and smiled at me cause he was so happy to look at new things and be a big boy and hang out with me.

2. Clearance Doughnuts. Cause I mean, doughnuts + clearance are two of my favorite words. I bought them for FHE tonight (I know, we're a day late, but we're totally doing it, so we rock).

3. Clearance Baby Clothes. Again with the clearance. And really, all of these shirts we're each a $1. How could I pass them up? Wal-Mart for the win today. Also I bought that silly little black tutu, cause umm, a dollar? I'm pretty sure someone needs it for a dollar. So yay for stocking up on bigger clothes. We've finally hit the point were we've run of things people have bought us as gifts and now have to fend for ourselves :). If there had been more shirts I would have bought them. But I pretty much cleaned up.

4. New Vacuum. Ok, so I already have a vacuum. But I've been looking for some sort of hand held little vacuum for small messes, cause my big vacuum is big... and heavy. And this one is hand held, or can attach to make a bigger vacuum to use on floors. I hear it works great on non-carpet floors, which is also a plus. My linoleum could use some love. And I've already used it, and plan on doing so again... James is a messy eater.

Parks, Playgrounds, Swings
The weather round these parts has been ridiculous this year. Winter, I hardly knew thee. It's been crazy warm since February or so. And while most people are loving it, I could have stood for a little more winter. And perhaps Spring would also be nice to have. Spring must not be skipped I say! But all this nice weather does lead to things like this. The park. And swinging. And oh how James loves swinging!

We pretend we can go to down the slide. One day and all that.

The Great Sherpa Hat Hunt
We went to Target this weekend with Julie, who came for a visit. We went on the Great Sherpa Hat Hunt of 2012. And James was sick of his car seat, understandably. So we let him out. It took two blankets and a hoodie to get him stable enough in those big ol' Target carts. But he loved it. And best part for him was chewing on the cart. And, yuck. I tried putting his paci in so he wouldn't chew on it, but he just spit it back out. The boy is getting to smart for his own good (or probably it's mine).
And commence cuteness.

Snow! And Winter! Finally!
Here it is mid-January and we have barely had a flurry. I was pretty sure we weren't going to get a winter this year. But finally. A whole like, inch of snow! It's amazing though what a little bit of wintery weather can do to do traffic, and how much of it I can see right from my window. You know it's bad when it's a parking lot where we live. But it was one of those times when it snowed and then the temperature dropped so quickly everything turned to ice and then Jamo got to work from home (one of the perks of his new job). It was quite a lovely day.
And a few weeks ago we were at the Old Navy and found this snow suit for James. And I know he's still small and won't get much use out of it, but it was $6! Amazing. And then we found this monster hat and we had to grab it. The Old Navy stole all our money this year, sigh.
And so here is our 4 minute trip outdoors to try out our warmest, cutest, cuddliest snow baby!
Snow Baby! A finger might have escaped. He had absolutely no idea what to think of this adventure. I think the wind was the worst part. But oh was he cute.
