Life... and maintenance.

So life still goes on.
Jamo and I met with the NACA guy. We need to take care of one thing and then we can get qualified. So now we wait, but hopefully by end of month it should happen.
I still work at UMSL. They made me a temp employee instead of contract. And in July I get to interview for the position I already have, stupid. But if I do get hired, it should be a more permanent thing, so that would be cool. There is plenty of things we need to pay for, yay!
Jamo is almost done with his semester and will be graduating from SCC. He'll take a couple of summer classes, 8 weeks long, but overall will be a nice break. As soon as he gets done with school we're going camping, cause it's been far too long.
In other news... uh... we had the maintenance guy over this morning. Our kitchen sink was clogged and was backing up into our bathroom sink last night, it was gross. And every time you turned on the garbage disposal it would send water shooting up in the bathroom, it was awesome. The sink was full of black water and lettuce. I think we have learned a lesson (especially Jamo), that you don't put mass amounts of lettuce down the garbage disposal. Also, our sink leaks, so he's fixing that. And our water heater wasn't working and we had no hot water this morning. So, he also fixed that. I'm going to miss just calling up someone to come fix everything in my place for free. So that was our adventure so far this week.

I still get to call someone everytime something is broken. His name is Chris. Although, occasionally we have a home repair that is too intimidating, so we wait until his dad comes down for a visit ;)

I don't think Jamo knows how to fix things... I've fixed more things than him. I may have to learn, or call dad...
