Official Blog Annoucement

Dearest blog readers:

1. the time has come for us to officially announce to the blog world that Jamo and I are in fact... Pregnant!

2. i ask that this blog post and information contained within remain on this blog and in your heads. i know most of you know already, seeing as how it's mostly family and really close friends who read this. but there might be a few that do not know. for the moment, please keep all comments located here and NOT on facebook. and please if you're in the ward, keep it to yourself for now. we plan on going public by the end of 7 days. but we want to tell people ourselves on our own time. we will let all know when it is ok to speak freely (you love me). thank you in advance :).

3. on to some more interesting and fun information for those of you who don't know anything about this baby or my pregnancy...

baby is due June 26, 2011

i'm 18 weeks and 2 days

gender ultrasound set one week from today, February 1st
(there will be a poll on facebook soon to guess the gender, fun!)

average heartbeat of baby is 144-148

my baby is now the size of a bell pepper (pretty awesome)

i had morning sickness like crazy and slept for weeks during the 1st trimester

i'm still down about 5 lbs. from where I started

4. and now you will all be getting lots of updates of how I feel, what I'm going through and just my general thoughts on the whole matter. and I seem to have a lot of them the past week or so that I feel the need to share on my blog (and now I can, lucky you!).

5. a photo! here I am tonight at 18w2d....

and I would like to pretend that some of that is baby, but really, I think I look about the same as I did pre-pregnancy. if anything, I think I almost look better (maybe all that throwing up and having no appetite did the trick). but pretty much I'm not showing yet and am just waiting to "pop". i will say though, that it is hard to suck anything in cause there is no more room for it with baby hiding under there.

6. we're completely excited!
