Four Things That Make Today Great

Some days make me happy to just be alive, living my silly little life. And here are a few of the things that made today spectacular...

1. Lunch Date With My Baby. Seriously, this has to be one of my favorite things to do with my James. Now that he is old enough to one, sit in a high chair, and two, eat whatever the heck he wants, we now have the mobility to be awesome. Of course, I still bring his lunch with us, today it was applesauce and cheerios and a bottle of milk. I probably sat in that silly Taco Bell for over an hour just eating lunch and talking with my baby. I just love this kid. And today was a good day with him, as most are. But there was just something about the way he babbled and smiled at me cause he was so happy to look at new things and be a big boy and hang out with me.

2. Clearance Doughnuts. Cause I mean, doughnuts + clearance are two of my favorite words. I bought them for FHE tonight (I know, we're a day late, but we're totally doing it, so we rock).

3. Clearance Baby Clothes. Again with the clearance. And really, all of these shirts we're each a $1. How could I pass them up? Wal-Mart for the win today. Also I bought that silly little black tutu, cause umm, a dollar? I'm pretty sure someone needs it for a dollar. So yay for stocking up on bigger clothes. We've finally hit the point were we've run of things people have bought us as gifts and now have to fend for ourselves :). If there had been more shirts I would have bought them. But I pretty much cleaned up.

4. New Vacuum. Ok, so I already have a vacuum. But I've been looking for some sort of hand held little vacuum for small messes, cause my big vacuum is big... and heavy. And this one is hand held, or can attach to make a bigger vacuum to use on floors. I hear it works great on non-carpet floors, which is also a plus. My linoleum could use some love. And I've already used it, and plan on doing so again... James is a messy eater.

I can never pass up super clearances like that either. Sometimes I call people from the store who I know have kids the right age and say, "Does your daughter need sandals? Cause they're a dollar and I'm buying two pairs"
And hooray for discount treats for FHE!
