New Poll!
As requested... a new poll has been added. This time it has a bit of an Easter theme. So go ahead and vote!
February
Here are some of the pictures taken in the month of February. The weather is starting to warm up... it felt like there might be an end to winter. I'm not ready for summer, but I'm sick of snow and freezing my tushi off. But on cold days, there's always good food to eat.
Jamo and I at El Magueys (we call it "gooeys") Yum. It's one of my favorite mexican restaurants to eat at.
Brad and Holly at Gooeys. Holly is holding up her carne asada (which is pretty much delicious... mmm... again with the food).
Aiden, Aaron and I went to the park one day. It was one of the first nice days of the year. We had a picnic and played for 2 hours (until Aaron was sick of the park... first time ever I think). We played ghost ship/ghostbusters. All the other kids at the park were jealous of our cool games and wanted to join in.
Aiden and Aaron on the swings. I can even sit on that silly green swing. I love the swings!
January
Here are a few pictures. All of these were taken in January. Just hanging out and some of the stuff we did. Yay, super exciting!
Jamo doing what he's best at... passing out on random couches. If you live near, you have probably seen this on your own couch. This is the snuggie sandy made jamo for his birthday.
Me messing with him... it's one of my favorite past-times. He's silly when he sleeps (or wakes up from sleeping).
David on a couch... we're really exciting!
Jamo and I went on a date one night. We went bowling! It had been while and Jamo kept wanting to go. Here you can see my amazing skills. I think one game I broke 100, barely.
Jamo is much better than me. He has this amazing technique... it's called chuck the ball as fast and hard as you can down the lane. He fares okay, always over 100.
These are our pretty pretties. They now like to hang outside the cage. And I can get them to come sit on my finger and play the ladder game, especially Lyra (the blue one). Grahm (the green one) is a little more a.d.d. and doesn't like to sit still and play games. But we haven't cut there wings and have finally learned to fly without crashing into everything. Although, they are still confused about our glass door. They like to try and escape to the outside to go hang with the other birds. I don't think they would survive a day in the outdoors.
We went to KC again for Julie's birthday. This is her at Texas Roadhouse. She got ribs.
Jameson also got ribs. I got a burger, cause that's what I'm good at. Yum. I'm making myself hungry for some good grub.
Jameson making chicken. I think I would be fine never eating chicken ever in my life. Sooooo much chicken that month.

So far in 2010
So an update. Umm, stuff. I started my job as a sub for custodians in the school district here. It's pretty much the best job I've ever had. It's pretty awesome and I enjoy it. It's also nice to have something to do during the day, keeps me sane. I only work 2 or 3 days a week though. That way I still have time to stay sane from working too much.
So we're not buying a house, which I'm completely fine with. I'm just glad it's done with and I don't have to think about it anymore. A few weeks ago I decided I really didn't care and we started buying stuff we've been intending to buy for months and months now. So we went crazy and bought a new tv, 42" lcd, woot. And then we had to get a new entertainment center to fit it, well, more of a stand, but yeah. And then the thing I've been dying to get for umm, since the day I got married... a king size bed. We are officially out of the double and into a king. I know have room to move and stretch out when I sleep. It's awesome. And then we've been buying little things too. I decided since I have to live in my apartment for the next year I'm going to actually have a bedroom I enjoy being in. So I repainted our dresser and bought new hardware for it, it's totally hot now. And we bought some new lamps and nightstands. And we bought some curtains. Our bedroom is almost completely amazing. I'm going to buy a head board soon and then move out the bookshelf and replace it with the fishtank and hang up the mirror. After that it should be about done.
I've also been doing crafts lately. I started with refinishing the dresser. And then the mirror. And then I made some art for my awesome 'new' bedroom. I've been keeping busy with lots of fun things like that. I also have some other projects in the works.
Jamo is doing good in school and plowing along. Only two more semesters after this! And at work, he's getting a new position, which comes with a pay raise, which is awesome. He also won't be on the phones anymore, or at least not a whole lot. It's a help desk position. So he's excited about that. Now if only we could find time in his schedule to sleep.
So yup, we're just living and loving life.
So things are going pretty well here and we're just living and loving life.

New Years Eve 2010
This new years eve we went to a friends house. Lots of food (I love 7 layer bean dip). They also had this guava paste stuff you put on crackers with swiss cheese. I could have died and gone ot heaven. There was also this delicious cheese and briscuito (sp?) on crackers, soooo good. I miss food. And we played lots of games and had some good times. Overall a very good new years eve.
This is everyone standing around waiting for 12:00 am. We were only about a minute away at this point. They had to test out all the loud noise makers and such.
Bro. Burgoyne and David. David makes some amazing faces through these pictures. And Bro Burgoyne is priceless in this one. Like father like son I guess.
Again David's face makes me laugh a little. The hat helps I think. Good times.
Jamo and I. Not a whole
These are our friends David and Tiffany. They're pretty much the only people we hang out with at this point. David is leaving in a week and they're all moving away in March, we're a bit depressed about it. So we've been cramming in lots of hanging out before then.
Jamo's 24th Birthday
On Jamo's birthday we went over to his brother's house. Tracy (sis-in-law) made lasagna upon Jamo's request for his birthday lunch. So we ate lunch and then cake and he opened presents. Hooray for birthdays!
Jamo on his 24th birthday. I made him an oreo cake. He wanted chocolate cake with white frosting. I thought that wasn't all that exciting for I put oreos on the side and crushed up some for the top. Mmmmm, cake.
Jamo blowing out his candles. There were a lot of them. We're going to have to start going to two pack next year.
Jamo and his sister Katie licking the candles from the cake. Good to know were not the only ones who do that.
Jamo opening his present. I found a really sweet deal on an external hard drive. He's been asking for one since last Christmas I think. And so when I saw it, I knew it was time to buy.
Jamo and his mother.
Jamo and all the presents he got from me and from his family.
Christmas
So here are some of the pictures from Christmas. Jamo and I started out at our house having a little Christmas all by ourselves. Then we went over to Dad's for Christmas brunch and present opening with Holly's family. It was delicious, lots of waffles and other things... so full. Then we just hung out with the fam most of the day. We spent Christmas Eve with Jamo's family and had our Christmas with them then. We got spoiled rotten this year. Maybe we should have watched our spending a little more closely. But we got some stuff we've been wanting for a long time. We got a gps system and a point and shoot digital camera (all pictures shown are taken with new camera). Jamo got games upon games and a couple movies. Dad bought me a netbook. My laptop died a week or two before Christmas conveniently for me (this is all being done on my new netbook, woot!). Then we got lots of smaller things, jewelry, movies, shoes, ties, candy. We rock at finding sales, that's how we role. So we pretty much had an awesome Christmas this year. It was lots of good time fun. So finally, here are some pictures...
Jamo and his spoils. He got all the Settlers of Catan + expansion packs, it was his big present.
Me and my spoils. Not a very good pic of me. This is why I am on a diet. This is also why I shouldn't get my picture taken first thing in the morning, oy!
Holly and her kids. Everyone here got snuggies for Christmas, made by Sandy. Jamo and I were jealous and got our about a week later. Mine is by far the coolest of them all, hehe.
Michael and Brad chilling in the snuggies and opening Christmas presents.
This is me and my fake Britney perfume from Holly (it's from the dollar store). It's one of those you had to be there moments.
Diana and I got each other socks. Mine were soft and fluffy and blue. Her's were striped and the other had candy, they were knee socks (I almost kept them for myself).
Emily opening Skip Bo, the game I got the kids for Christmas. Another had to be there moments, Emily is silly.
Michael with the game I bought him. He wanted Twister and I found a sweet deal at Target one week. I was pleased with my fine and he seemed to enjoy it.
Dad opening a present. I'm not sure what it is, might of been our itunes giftcard.
This is what Frank gets from me every year, Krabby Patties. I'm sure he loves it a lot. Almost as good as the year I got him a pill organizer, haha.
Jamo and the boys playing Settlers of Catan. This went on for hours. Jamo is always looking for someone to play with him. I can only play it so many times before I get bored.
